Chocolate Mousse

I love cooking, this Dessert I have made is with love....


  • 300g dark cooking chocolate

  • 4 eggs, separated

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 tsp lemon juice

  • Margarine to grease ramekins

  • Cherry for garnish


  1. Melt chocolate in a metal heatproof bowl placed in a saucepan of boiling water. Stir chocolate till it melts. Remove from heat and cool.

  2. Coat 4 ramekins with margarine.

  3. In a bowl beat egg whites till frothy. Add lemon juice. Continue beating, slowly add brown sugar a few tablespoons at a time.

  4. Stir in egg yolks into chocolate. Gently stir in egg whites into the chocolate mixture.

  5. Combine the chocolate mixture into the bowl with egg whites and gently mix together completely.

  6. Spoon chocolate mixture into prepared Ramekins and gently tap the containers to release any bubbles.

  7. Add whipped cream and cherry on the chocolate mousse.

  8. Chill till set and enjoy!
